The Slique Story

There is a point where every story begins, and so begins, the Slique Story.

Slique Productions is the brainchild of Vicky Schroeder. Vicky came up with the idea while pondering how to meld the hodgepodge choices she had made in her life.

Vicky graduated from California State University Fullerton with a marketing degree, but somehow was pigeonholed in the accounting department because she knew how to use a calculator. Duh!

For 10 years she counted beans for the BIG GUY, yet yearned to start her own business. Determined to escape the cubicle, she learned everything she could about the computer programs she worked with, and took every class that sprung up on her, from acting, financial planning, writing and fencing.

She finally started her own successful accounting and computer business, but still envisioned something more for herself. Needing meaning in her life, she delved into Reiki and hypnosis. In a hypnosis session, she decided to show other people how to think outside the box to make their dreams come true in a way that was different and fun.

Coming from a family with an odd mix of physicians, businesspeople and artists, Vicky needed to find a way to unite all her own passions of acting, writing and wellness into something that would inspire change. Thus, she began developing her first workshop series called Ad Libs 4 More using everything she learned in the fields of business, art and wellness.

To Vicky, it's been about igniting and uniting one's passions and finding a way to bring those passions to life in a way that is real and empowering.
